Ellen O’Shea Book Release Party: “The Mystery of the Red-Sailed Ship”

Ellen O’Shea will read her newest Children’s book: The Mystery of the Red-Sailed Ship.

The event theme is: “The Stories We Tell. Teaching children about diverse multi-cultural histories”. Lemonade, cookies, and iced herbal tea will be served.

Ellen will read her new book, all about children and their grandmother who solve a local mystery. They explore the coastal lands of the Olympic Peninsula and the multicultural people who lived and thrived in our area. The two boys look for an ancient Chinese ship left in the bay of a local port more than 100 years ago. The boys explore the ecology and nature of the shore and become part of the annual Canoe landing.
