TIM SNIDER & WOLFGANG TIMBER
“Globe-spanning sounds that incorporate his classical chops as well as a multitude of life experiences. A child violin prodigy, Snider has decades of material under his belt, finding his bread and butter within the jam worlds. Yet its his quieter moments as a songwriter that stand out and are worth considering.” – Portland Mercury
“Unbridled energy, intensity, and musical eclecticism. Tim Snider plays and loops the electric violin, guitar, cajon, and vocals creating aural landscapes that are forceful, confessional, and raw.” – Reno Tahoe Tonight
For years Tim Snider has been touring the world non-stop as the renowned violinist for the American band Nahko and Medicine for the People. Performing to sold-out crowds in amphitheaters like Red Rocks and The Greek to stadiums like Suntrust Park Atlanta, GA and Rogers Centre Toronto, Canada. He has performed at some of the worlds biggest festivals, Bonnaroo, Byron Bay Blues, Caliroots, Glastonbury, and been direct support for Zack Brown Band, Dispatch, Rebelution, and Xavier Rudd. Now he is working on a brand new record and getting ready to hit the road with his new band, Tim Snider & Wolfgang Timber.
Tim not only plays violin but loops guitar, percussion, and vocals into a sound that has been described as a world-folk hybrid, aimed at the heart the head and the feet. His individual style of folk-fusion and conscience rock will leave you dancing with a new sense of purpose. He is no stranger to the frontman role having toured his original music in venues and festivals throughout Europe, Australia, Brazil, and North America. He has worked with Trevor Hall, Mike Love, Nahko, Satsang, Talib Kweli, Dispatch, Hirie, Cas Haley, and countless others.
“Uplifting and motivating, Tim Snider ends with an EPIC solo on his electric violin, shredding the bow to bits.” – Top Shelf Music
“Irresistible, meticulous song-craft” – Guitar World Acoustic Nation
“Defies geographical categorization but its appeal is undeniable – Something else
They bounce [the crowd], sway and dance as a single collective with the majority so in the moment that Rome could burn down around them and they’d still focus on Tim Snider’s violin playing!” – My Global Mind (London)

THE SHIFT
THE SHIFT casts a new light on modern Folk music, incorporating alternative rock, bluegrass and reggae, paired with profound lyrics and enticing melodies, which captivate the heart and ignite the mind.
Kalan Wolfe began his musical career playing coffee shops, bars, and busking throughout Western Washington. Discovered by American Idol, his career took a turn when he performed for judges in Hollywood. Shortly thereafter, THE SHIFT was formed. The challenge? Performing and recording original, conscious music, while raising a family in an off grid cabin in the woods. Kalan and his wife Keely Crow-Ka take the stage each weekend, accompanied by Kalan’s father Karl (Bapa) Hatton, daughter Ember Brightheart, and a regularly “shifting” band of musicians, each member a fantastic artist in their own right.
THE SHIFT has performed for the Oregon Country Fair, Departure Fest NW, Classic Moonfest, Ebby Island Freedom Fest, Juan De Fuca Festival, as well as headlining the Okanogon Family Barter Faire, and many more. They have also performed at the esteemed venue, Spanish Ballroom of Tacoma, Wa. THE SHIFT has performed alongside acts such as Nattali Rize, Tim Snider, Leon Hendrix, Peter Rivera, Amber Lily, Jus Wright, and Patterns of Saturn. They continue to gain momentum in the conscious music scene and plan to expand their tours internationally.
